Golden Gate
The volcanic massif Kara-Dag is located on the Black Sea coast. The rock has the form of an arch, due to which it was previously called “Devil's Gate”. Not far from the village of Simeiz, right in the sea, near the mountain of Koshka, there is a limestone rock called Diva. Its height reaches 45 meters. The rocks here, according to geologists, are more than a billion years old. Demerdzhi is located at an altitude of 1240 meters above sea level. It is located north of Alushta. The array is divided into two parts by a saddle.
Tourists are invited to follow the trail to Demerdzhi on horseback. This tour will bring guests of Crimea to the Valley of Ghosts. The last meters will have to go on foot.
