There are products that have a neutral shade and make a matte coating of any color. This gives you the opportunity to try the maximum number of options and choose your favorite color. This will take only a few minutes. As a result, you can get a huge field for experiments with shades and textures for little money.
To create a matte manicure this way will require:
- base coat (it may be part of colored lacquer);
- varnish of any shade;
- matte finish (Big Matte Top Coat by Sally Hansen, Super Matte Top Coat and others.
First you need to do a hygienic manicure, give your nails the desired shape, apply a base coat. After drying, a colored layer is applied. The next layer will be a matting agent. According to the experience of the masters it can be said that the universal matte finish looks best on dark shades. In addition, such a manicure shows all the shortcomings of the nail plate. Matting steam at home
The cheapest way to make a manicure matte at home is to use water vapor. The only disadvantage of the method is insecurity. With careless use, you can get a burn.
First you need to prepare a base coat, colored varnish, dishes with boiling water. It is also recommended to start with a hygienic manicure. Then you need to degrease the nail plate. Starch Manicure

Soda for matting varnish
Baking soda also perfectly cope with the task. Soda works with lightning speed, so all the necessary products and tools should be at hand. It will take:

- colored varnish.
Soda should be carefully sifted through a sieve. Pre-recommended to make a hygienic manicure and remove the cuticle. Next you need to apply a base coat and wait for complete drying. You will have to handle one hand, otherwise you may not have time to do all the necessary procedures on the other hand before the varnish dries.
On just painted nails immediately need to spray soda with a brush for makeup. It also removes excess. After that, the nails are dipped in a saucer with water. The remaining soda particles are removed with a wet makeup brush. The effect will be visible only after complete drying of the varnish.
Powder shadows and matte manicure
Another effective way is to use a combination of colorless varnish and matte eye shadows. I mix them together in one bottle. Starch from one of the previous recipes will help enhance the effect of haze.All three components are mixed in one bubble and applied over the dried base.
Important advice: after creating a matte finish, you should not apply a fixer or top coat on top. It will create a glossy effect, which was required to get rid of and will negate all the work done previously.
