On the eve of Easter, on April 15, another Miss Russia 2017 beauty contest and youth took place in Moscow. Of the 50 beauties, TV viewers and jury have selected the best of the best 25 times, which will represent the country at the international level in the Miss Universe and Miss World competitions. She became a representative of the city of Yekaterinburg, Sverdlovsk region - Polina Popova.
The hosts of the event were DJ on radio Maxim Privalov, and TV presenter, winner of the 2003 beauty contest, Victoria Lopyreva.
Representatives of the jury were the winners of previous contests Sofia Nikitchuk, Ksenia Sukhinova, Oksana Fedorova, and also the girls received marks from gymnast Lyaysan Utyasheva, photographer Jonathan Becker and designer Igor Chapurina.

Yana Dobrovolskaya, who became “Miss Russia 2016”, presented Polina with a crown, which is made of white gold and encrusted with pearls and luxury diamonds worth more than $ 1 million.
An additional award was a bank card for 3 million rubles, a necklace created from white gold and diamonds, and finally, a luxury car of the new model - Hyundai Solaris.

21-year-old Polina lives in Yekaterinburg, Sverdlovsk region. The girl's favorite activities are playing tennis, cooking, reading books, and learning Chinese. Fluent in English. Of all the literary works, Polina most liked the novel by the writer Margaret Mitchell "Gone With the Wind."
The young beauty has been working as a model for 6 years, thanks to which she has an excellent opportunity to travel a lot (a personal page on the Instagram network shows this): America, China, Japan, Singapore, Italy - and these are just some of the countries Polina has visited.
By the way, it is impossible not to mention the fact that when the girl came to the samples for further work as a model, the set was already closed. However, the young beauty liked all the teachers so much that she was accepted as an exception. It turned out not in vain. In addition, the girl dreams of becoming a journalist and is going to enroll in the capital's university. But earlier Polina lived and worked in the Chinese town of Guangzhou for a long time and planned to study at a Chinese university. According to Polina, she does not plan to spend gift money: “Working as a model in Europe and Asia brought me a good income. I was recently in America. I have my own savings and valuable acquisitions for money earned by my own labor. ”

How was the competition?
50 young girls competed for the title “Miss Russia 2017”. Under the terms of the competition, all participants must be taller than 173 cm, from 18 to 23 years old.
During the period of the competition, any tattoos and bad habits are prohibited, all girls should be single and not have children. The past contenders for the main beauty of Russia should not have video and photo materials of erotic content, especially criminal liability.
In the final, the girls went through several stages of the competition. At first, each had to tell about the place of birth, work, personal views of life. The contestants presented a short video file. Then it took place according to the tradition of a defile in bathing suits.
And of course, it was not without intellectual competition. “And now we will determine who is not only beautiful here, but also smart,” said Victoria Lopyreva, who in the evening changed her Gypsy dress with a dress in sequins.

An interesting fact is that the contestants Polina Popova and Elizaveta Anikhovskaya have already secured in advance guaranteed places for the top twenty finalists, being the first in the top ten in the final Internet voting. And judging by the distributed audience voices, Polina Popova was not at all an obvious contender for the victory in the competition “Miss Russia 2017”.
